Valka’s equipment in the spotlight as Samherji’s high tech plant is featured in the N4 TV show
Samherji’s new and highly automated processing plant was recently featured by the Icelandic TV station N4. The project aims at automating the entire fresh fish production from gutting to palletized boxes. Valka was one of the project’s main equipment vendor providing Automated Pin bone & Portion Cutter, Sorting and routing portions, Automatic infeed to fresh packing, two Batching & Packing graders equipped with empty box handling system as well as Automatic Label & Lid applicator machines.
